Some time ago I ran across an article on Dakkdakka about stripping paint from miniatures. The guy who wrote suggested using acetone free nail varnish remover as it shouldn't damage plastic models.
Its works really well, I have just stripped the paint from the Blackclad wayfarer I had started as I was really not happy with the piss-poor undercoat and the patchy base coat. I am just waiting for it to dry out a little before regluing the weapon on and then I will prime it properly.
In other news I have built and primed the Gorax and may even start painting it before the weekend.
