I am still alive!

Sorry about the lack of updates over the last couple of months. First I had no camera and then one thing got in the way of another and thus no updates.

Hopefully later on I will post up some photos of what I have been working on.

I am going to a theme list tournament next month and so will be posting up lists as I try them. First up is a 25 point eKaya list I am going to use against Toms Khador tomorrow night.

Warjacks are back on the menu!

Going to put the Cygnar battlebox back on the to do paint list.

This adds a partly base coated Ironclad, a primed Stryker, an unbuilt Lancer and a finished Charger to my model count and lets me play around with focus for a change.

Planning on adding the Black 13th to round it out to 15 points for playing at what will hopefully be the new monthly Warmachine night the FLGS may start running.

Will put up some photos of the finished Charger and the Ironclad at some point.

pKaya vs eVlad

Well I played Tom this evening, it went badly wrong!

He did indeed take the list I thought he would and I was just not prepared for how tough Khador stuff actually is, evening with boosting the damage on my Warpwolf I only managed a couple of points of damage each swing. Also Manhunters are sick with hand of fate and Vlads feat, I just couldn't take the hits and then get away!

I am going to rethink my list a bit and probably get a new caster, most likely eKaya, Kromac or Cassius.

Did take a couple of photos during the game, sorry about the quality but they where taken on my iPhone.

Also gave Chris an intro game, he enjoyed it and is thinking of getting a small army (15 points) for when he doesnt feel like playing 40k. The demo game was not ideal due to us only having cards for circle and Khador so had to do warmachine versus hordes!

Sorry about the lack of an update on the Blackclad last night, I unexpectedly had to go shopping with the girlfiend!

Playing a game with Tom from my FLGS later tonight, 15 points as that is all Tom currently has for his Khador. Fairly sure he will be taking -

Trying to grow a Warmahordes community

Started on my my next step of getting a Warmanchine / Hordes community going in Harlow last night by teaching Lenny the basics of the game.

We played a very basic game Legion vs Circle with a battlebox each and a couple of coasters on the coffee table as scenery.

And I think he liked it and may well take it up rather than 40k.

Really thinking about going for Press Ganger now, as soon as I finish the Legion battlebox.
